Coursework and Clinic:
An Interconnected Curriculum
Curriculum
The School of Communication Sciences & Disorders (CSD) offers a two-year, full-time Master of Science degree in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP) on our beautiful Forest Grove campus.
Our speech-language pathology curriculum provides in-depth study of the wide range of SLP clinical practice in speech, language, swallowing, and cognitive-communication disorders across the lifespan.
Our faculty integrates the best current evidence with client-centered care using innovative and practical approaches to teaching.
The School: Meeting Your Expectations
Students have the opportunity to work closely with faculty, professional speech-language pathology clinical supervisors, and gain interdisciplinary experience working with allied health professionals in a variety of community-based settings.
Clinical Placements
Pacific University prides itself on providing a solid foundation in clinical education. Students will complete a minimum of 400 hours of clinical experience throughout the program.

A Day in the Life
Prospective students often ask us, “What is a day in the life of a student really like? How many hours do they study?” So we went straight to the source and asked some of our current students about a typical day. A Day in the Life gives you a glimpse of what you can expect.
